Jak začít hrát
Po dokončení hry jednoho hráče si určitě budete chtít zahrát s více hráči přes internet. Na našem webu Vám pomůžeme a seznámíme Vás s internetovým hraním Call of Duty. Článek je určen pro všechny díly Call of Duty, avšak některé věci se mohou lišit. Na ty se budeme snažit upozornit.
Připojení
Po instalaci se vytvořily dva spustitelné soubory – hra jednoho hráče a hra více hráčů. Abyste mohli hrát po internetu, musíte pochopitelně spustit hru s více hráči (anglicky Multiplayer). Ještě než spustíte hru, je velice vhodné (dnes asi už nezbytné), abyste nainstalovali poslední verzi patche. Patch je do češtiny přeložen jako záplata a opravuje chyby, které jsou ve hře.
V menu dejte Nastavení multiplayeru (Multiplayer option) a nastavte si jméno hráče (Player name)(1.) a zapněte Punkbuster (2.).
Klasické připojení
Nyní už můžete kliknout na „Připojit hru“ (Join a game) a hledat vhodný server. Zdroj (source) nastavte na Internet. Call of Duty má více typů hry o kterých si můžete přečíst v článku typy hry. Pro začátek Vám doporučím TDM nebo DM. Vybírejte servery s co možná nejmenším pingem (odezva od serveru). Dvojklikem spustíte hru a začnete se připojovat na server.
Druhý sloupeček zprava (kladivo na obrázku) označuje, zdali se na serveru vyskytují nějaké modifikace (úpravy hry). X= ano. Všechny funkce nemusím snad popisovat.
Připojení přes konzoly
Může nastat situace, kdy znáte pouze IP adresu serveru. Nejčastěji při týmových zápasech. Nejjednodušším způsobem připojení je přes konzoly. Spusťte hru a otevřete konzoly tlačítkem středník (pod Esc). Z textového pole jej nyní musíte zase smazat. Napíšete příkaz /connect xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:xxxxx a stiskněte enter. Pokud víte, že na serveru je heslo napište první příkaz /password tajne_heslo a následně až /connect.
Program HLSW
Druhou možností je připojení pomocí programu lhsw. Program je schopen uložit vaše oblíbené IP adresy serverů a navíc zobrazuje nastavení serveru (počet hráčů, ping, typ hry a dokonce skóre připojených hráčů). Program není určen pouze pro Call of Duty. Více informací
Časté problémy s připojováním:
Q: Nezobrazí se mi ani seznam serverů ve hře. A: Nejspíš firewall zablokoval nějaké porty potřebné pro připojení. Řešením je vypnout firewall.
Q: Při připojování Awaitting Connection stále odpočítává. A: Nejspíš opět firewall blokuje jisté porty potřebné pro připojení. Druhá možnost je, že server už neexistuje.
Q: Hláška Awaiting CD KEY authorization. A: Server očekává autorizaci vašeho CD klíče. Pokud neuspěje, pravděpodobně máte nelegální kopii hry. Hru si můžete zakoupit v našem e-shopu.
Q: Hláška PunkBuster must be Enabled. A: Nezapnuli jste punkbuster. Viz začátek článku.
Q: Něco mi to stahuje, potřebuji to? A: Pravděpodobně se stahují mapy, které nemáte. Pokud se zrovna ta mapa nehraje, nemusíte ji stahovat. Zakázat stahování lze v Nastavení multiplayeru – allow download = no (viz první obrázek - 3.). Pak stačí do konzole napsat /reconnect. Pokud se však stahuje nějaká modifikace nebo aktuální mapy, tak se bez ní asi neobejdete a musíte ji stáhnout.
